This Should Be Required Reading in Most History Classes...

A lot of people don't understand that most of the Korean War involved combat between American and Chinese Soldiers, and that the US Army was actually forced to withdraw from North Korea during November 1950 because of Chinese tactical victories at the Chongchon River and the Chosin Reservoir. This commemorative brochure details of both of those battles, as well as the major decisions of senior American commanders, in a simple but well written manner. You don't have to be a military expert to pick this up, read it, and understand it. I highly recommend it.

It's just an outline of the main events surrounding the Chinese intervention. Too much is left unsaid and unexplained.
